Women's Ministry

womens2The Women’s Ministry of Leawood East is designed to reach women for Christ and mature them in their faith; to encourage and support women through prayer, Bible study, and discipleship; and to support the entire mission of our church.

Sewing & quilting classes meet at 6:00pm Monday evenings in the Fellowship Hall. If you are in high school or a grandmother (or anywhere in between), and would like to learn how to sew, join us! We've begun by learning how to sew on buttons, do straight stitching, and how to hem. Along the way, you will also learn the significance of being a "knotted ruby". For more information, contact Pat Jackson.

The Knotted Rubies now also feature a knitting class taught by Ramona Rogers. If you'd like to register to participate in these classes, please contact Pat Jackson.

The Mom2Mom Group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm in Room 400. Jamie Stilgenbauer will be facilitating a Bible study of Karol Ladd's popular book The Power of a Positive Mom. The book offers seven time-tested principles that will help you become the mom you've always wanted to be.
